I love you man & Canada's Wonderland

Matt and I went for job training yesterdya. It was four hours long. It was practically completely useless but has got us both in the mood for scaring.

BTW, I love you man is an awesome movie. Matt and I have always had this joke between us, our potential kids will be picked on because of the stereotypes that both cultures hold.

He is Portuguese so fish would be his stereotype while mine would be TACOS!

So therefore, in our eyes, our kids would be "fish tacos"

Which is why it was hilarious hearing that in the movie. :)

Whatever, fish tacos is a cute saying. Go watch the movie.

Pisches? Peaches

This is Peaches. Matt's cat. He was put down on September 20. This was a very precious and loving cat who was friendly to just about anyone. Peaches was my age and was named after Matt's nickname. He made everyone feel more welcome and comfortable. He shed all his fur everywhere and drank out of the toilet. He used to throw up a lot and had bad breath. Although he knew better, he always wanted to wander into the bedrooms and sleep in the closets. He meowed nicely and liked to curl up under the table, on a rug, where he would leave a white patch of his fur without fail. He had arthritis and a bad hip. He also followed people around the house and purred loudly when you pet him. He always rubbed up against my leg and left tons of fur on my pants. Matt and I were supposed to give him a bath. I always carried him and pet him and rubbed my face against him. He liked to have fights with raccoons and wonder the downtown areas. There was a time when he was dyed pink by accident, and another when young Matthew tried to flush him down the toilet. He was an awesome and handsome feline.

In the span of 3-4 days, Peaches started to drool and vomit a lot more than usual. The family thought he was either sick, or going to die

The cat was unable to move much, but still tried. He was brave and dignified the whole 3 days when he was dying.

The family decided to have him euthanized. The vet told them that the cat had been having severe kidney problems and that he was surprised the cat had lived through this more than a day.
Thinking about him being gone makes me sad. I see a cat hair on the floor and it makes me sad. I put the toilet lid down and realize he won't drink out of it. I look under the table and he is not lying there. Sigh.
He was cremated and the family has yet to receive the ashes.

Gawddd Tigger

Phew. finally getting some down time.

It seems like ALL my "extra" time goes to reading books for U of T.

They SLAVE us! With all the walking, heavy lifting, and eye straining! Sigh

Right now, as you can see, my cat is sleeping on my shoulder. His name is Tigger. He used to be a street cat but he kept coming to mi casa for food. One day he got into a scrap with another stray cat and he got a really bad bite on his leg. My mother got him to a vet and set him free again. He was not our cat but a stray cat. Again he kept coming back for food and got into another scrap. This time, the middle padding on his paw was halfway torn off. We took him to the vet yet again and decided to keep him.
He sleeps on my pillow every night :)

High School Days

Debs Rex and I went to visit our high school yesterday. We saw a whole bunch of teachers. got some teacher-hugs, good wishes, and help.

I love that place. It has always been so friendly. Sigh. I miss it but I love the glamour of U of T.
Let's see how much I love U of T when I get mt first mark back!

Third day at U of T

I purchased around $400 worth of books.

yay.

My brother kicked me in the stomach.

yay.

My boyfriend and I got into a huge fight and he left me crying in a parking lot, in my pajamas.

yay.

He came back.

yay?

I wanted him to comfort me but he made me cry.

yay.

I ended up comforting him.

yay.

Life is cool.

sigh.
